1. Quotations
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to change after the validity period. Quotations are based on the information provided by the customer and may be adjusted if site conditions differ from those originally specified. Free site quotations are available within our service area. Quotations can also be provided based on customer-supplied measurements and photographs. Protecto Covers cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies resulting from incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.
2. Orders & Payment
A deposit is required before manufacturing will commence. Full payment must be made upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed in writing. All products remain the property of Protecto Covers until paid for in full.
3. Manufacturing & Installation
Standard turnaround time is approximately 7–14 working days from receipt of deposit and final approval of measurements. Turnaround times may vary due to weather conditions, material availability, public holidays, or unforeseen circumstances. Installation dates are estimates and may be adjusted if required.
4. Product Information
All products are custom-manufactured according to customer specifications. Minor variations in colour, shade, and material appearance may occur. Product lifespan depends on environmental conditions, maintenance, and usage.
5. Warranty
PVC Pool Covers carry a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects. Weather Blinds (PVC and Ripstop) carry a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects and workmanship. Warranty applies to workmanship and manufacturing faults only. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, accidents, storms, extreme weather events, unauthorized modifications, neglect, improper operation, or normal wear and tear. Clear PVC may naturally show signs of ageing, scratching, or slight discoloration over time due to environmental exposure and is not considered a manufacturing defect. PVC Pool Covers have an expected lifespan of approximately 6 years with proper care and maintenance. Warranty claims must be reported to Protecto Covers as soon as the defect is identified.
6. Safety Disclaimer
Pool covers provide an additional layer of safety but are not a substitute for adult supervision. Children and pets should never be left unattended near a swimming pool. Customers are responsible for ensuring that covers are properly secured when not in use.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must ensure clear and safe access to the installation area. Any required permissions, approvals, or body corporate authorizations remain the responsibility of the customer. Customers must disclose any underground services, pipes, electrical cables, or potential installation hazards before work commences.
8. Cancellations & Returns
As all products are custom-made, orders cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has commenced. Deposits paid on custom-manufactured products are non-refundable after production has started. Custom-made products cannot be returned unless a manufacturing defect exists.
9. Maintenance
Customers are responsible for the regular cleaning and maintenance of products according to Protecto Covers' care guidelines. Failure to maintain products may affect product lifespan and warranty coverage.
10. Limitation of Liability
Protecto Covers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products. Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective products covered under warranty.
11. Acceptance
Acceptance of a quotation, payment of a deposit, or confirmation of an order constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. Protecto Covers reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
